Description
The policy decisions made by water districts affect water access, affordability, equity, safety and resiliency. In San Diego County, water district boards and the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) are responsible for provision and management of water supplies and services. Policy decisions made by these boards will only become more important as climate change impacts become both more severe and more apparent. If the decisions made by the elected water boards are to be fully representative of the interests of the communities they serve, community members must have a voice in the process of decision-making.
