CPI: Putting People First

In San Diego, the Center on Policy Initiatives is finding local solutions to lift up the economy by lifting working families out of poverty. Our work in 2008 brought new living wage policies, health coverage protections for workers threatened by privatization and a standard for better jobs in the city’s future development.
