We need to be investing in care, stability, and opportunity. We urge you to:

Invest in youth. Allocate $250k to conduct a feasibility study for a department of youth development

Invest in workers. Add two investigators to the Office of Labor Standards and Enforcement and expand the workplace justice fund.

Invest in people. Create an emergency fund for people impacted by ICE raids.

Our communities deserve safety, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive. We urge you to choose care over criminalization. Invest in the services and opportunities our communities need to thrive.

The County must also increase the Workplace Justice Fund by $350,000 and hire a senior deputy counsel to support operating and managing this fund.
