Students for Economic Justice 2023 Mixer & Fundraiser

MESSAGE FROM THE HOSTS

We believe it’s important to give students an opportunity to learn about and get involved in local social justice movements and organizations. As college educators and long-time activists in the American Federation of Teachers, we believe that our interests and the interests of the communities we serve are inextricably bound with the future of our students. This is why, when we were invited to join the SEJ Advisory Board, we jumped at the chance. We’ve been hosting a fundraiser for SEJ for several years to help sustain the program and the students it serves. Our continued commitment to SEJ is rooted in our belief that by continuing to support this program we are planting seeds for a better San Diego. We’ve set a goal of raising $6000 for the 2023 SEJ program. One major way you can help us reach this goal is by signing up to co-host it with us.
