Description
In 2018 the San Diego North County region was home to more than 83,000 men, women, and children who lived below the federal poverty level (FPL), out of a total population of 867,340 in the region. With the exception of San Marcos and Carlsbad, cities’ in North County had higher poverty rates in 2018 than they did before the recession of 2007-2008.
