Peyton Cordero joined the CPI team in 2020. Raised in San Diego, California, Peyton received her BA in Political Science from San Diego State University and her MA in Peace and Justice from the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies at the University of San Diego. Before joining CPI, Peyton volunteered with various nonprofit organizations in San Diego, including the United Nations Association – San Diego, Women’s Empowerment International, and San Diego 350—where she still serves as an active volunteer on the legislative committee.
Peyton is a social and environmental justice activist, a pizza enthusiast, and a writer in her free time. She is passionate about driving social change and staying involved in her local community.
