I applied to the SEJ fellowship program with the intentions of building on my organizing skills. I want to learn how to be more structured when conveying a message, and sharpen my understanding of what union work is.
So far at the fellowship, it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have met many organizers, whether they are in labor or in non-profit, they have all been hardworking, knowledgeable, and extremely passionate about the work they do. I have been through many workshops that all have been shaping me into the organizer I dream to be. Being a part of a one of a kind program like SEJ, I become humbled of the opportunity. I am grateful to be chosen from the many students that applied, and it makes me really appreciate everyone involved in this program.
The process of developing these organizing skills require a lot of resources and one happens to be money. So I ask if you can take the time and donate any monetary amount I will truly appreciate it. I assure you that your donation will go a long way. It will help to set up a foundation for the future organizers and leaders who will be a part in creating a better world, a more just world for everyone.
