The Community Budget Alliance released our FY2020 Budget and policy priorities and submitted them to the San Diego City Council and Mayor.
The FY2020 city budget should be transparent, reflect community needs and allocate resources equitably. The San Diego-Tijuana region must prioritize the needs of low-income economically disadvantaged and overburdened neighborhoods.
We want to see the City of San Diego protect renters, fight wage theft, stop privatizing city services, support living wage jobs, transportation justice and environmental justice, invest in youth and community lead boards and commissions and community planning groups.
